Most cancer is preventable. We're here to show you how.

Killing Cancer Kindly exists to reduce the lifetime risk of cancer from 50% to under 5% by 2050 — through evidence-based prevention, gentler treatment research, and education that walks beside you, never at you.

Our mission, in one number

Today, 1 in 2 of us will develop cancer in our lifetime. We believe that number can — and must — fall.

Around 4 in 10 cancer cases in the UK are already preventable through things we understand today. With research into gentler diagnosis and treatment, education from childhood, and prevention taken as seriously as cure, our goal is a lifetime risk under 5% by 2050.

Why "kindly"

Cancer care doesn't have to be a brutal battle.

We reject the language of war. Prevention, early answers, and treatment that works with nature — not against the person — can make cancer something most of us never face, and something gentler for those who do.

01

We walk beside you

Clear, honest answers to the questions people actually ask — about symptoms, diagnosis, and what comes next — reviewed by a practising NHS oncologist.

02

Working with nature

From elephants' famously low cancer rates to the body's own defences, we champion research into prevention and kinder, more precise treatment.

03

Hope over fear

Fear paralyses; hope motivates. We teach prevention from childhood — including through comics — so healthy choices feel possible, not preached.

Dr Mohammad Muneeb Khan

MBBS · MRCP (London) · MSc Clinical Oncology (Birmingham) · FRCR (London)

A consultant clinical oncologist within NHS England and Principal Investigator on national and international cancer trials, Dr Khan founded KCK on a simple conviction: most cancer is preventable, and everyone deserves to know how.

We don't just fight cancer in the clinic. We walk beside people, and we start long before cancer ever does.
